Why We Do It
We are passionate about helping people achieve their optimal health. We thrive on seeing our patients regain their quality of life.
What We Do
We treat each patient’s cardiovascular condition with the best evidence-based medical therapy. But we don’t stop there. . . patients also receive written prescriptions for lifestyle changes such as diet, exercise, and smoking cessation.
Services
Cardiology
We look after all cardiac conditions and assess patients with undifferentiated symptoms yet to be diagnosed. We also work with patients at risk of developing heart disease.
Cardiac Diagnostics
ECG, treadmill exercise stress testing, Holter monitor, 7-day patch Holter, 14-day patch Holter, and 24-hour blood pressure monitors.
Registered Dietitian
Our Registered Dietitian is available to see patients outside the cardiac rehab and fitness programs.
PULSE FIT Rx
Cardiac Rehab & Medical Fitness Program
We have developed a state-of-the-art cardiac rehabilitation program designed to continue the momentum generated by the hospital-based programs. Our cardiologist-supervised program is tailored to your unique condition and needs. We help you take control of your health by creating a personalized program of exercise, diet, and education. Your exercise prescription is adjusted as your fitness improves. The cardiologist follows you throughout to optimize your medical therapy.

Meet Our Team
Dr. Eli Rosenberg
BSc, MD, MBA, FRCPC
Dr. Rosenberg is a specialist in both internal medicine and cardiology with a special interest in preventative cardiology. He founded Pulse Cardiac Centre and developed the Pulse Fit Rx cardiac rehab program to ensure patients had a place to continue the momentum created in the hospital-based cardiac rehabilitation programs. He suspended his hobbies when his twins were born, but hopes to resume rock climbing again, as soon as possible. (Update: they’re 7 and he still hasn’t started rock climbing)
Hannah Tonneman
Clinical Exercise Physiologist

Prior to joining our team, she was leading a team of 6 with over 100 clients. Her clients’ health concerns have ranged from cardiovascular, pulmonary, metabolic, orthopedic, and neuromuscular. She’s enthusiastic, hardworking, and so eager to help drive our patients’ success in building strength and endurance.
Alex Brown
Cardiac Technologist
Alex is an extraordinary cardiovascular technologist who in the past effortlessly replaced three other technologists. Alex conducts our ECGs, treadmill exercise stress testing, Holter and event monitoring, and ambulatory blood pressure monitoring. As a certified personal trainer as well, he often provides free fitness tips.
